This section of the site details available translations on legislation relating to the Ministry of Health in Iceland. In case of any discrepancies between the translations and the original text in Icelandic, the original text as published in the Icelandic Legal Gazette prevails.

Laws are passed by Althingi, the Icelandic Parliament. Acts that have been translated into English are accessible in the Laws section.

Regulations are issued by the Minister for Health based on authorization in Laws passed by Althingi. Regulations translated into English are accessible in the Regulations section.
